Guided by Christopher Braddock, this course is designed for the family that wants to make music together. Are there two
in your family (or three, four or even five) who have a minimum of three years of playing/singing experience and want to
make music together in an informal and comfortable setting? If so, this course is for you! Each family meets with Christopher
Braddock two times per month: one time in a group workshop and one time in a private rehearsal. On the first Saturday
of each month, families will get together to perform for one another and explore a variety of topics including music history,
theory, performance, practice and ensemble playing. Additionally, each family receives one monthly 30-minute private
rehearsal with Christopher Braddock to be scheduled during the 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday time slot. Any combination
of instruments (and voices) welcome! This class is limited to six families.
Prerequisite: Each participating family member should have a minimum of three years playing experience to ensure a
meaningful experience for everyone. |
