The Wilmington Music School/Delaware Music School (WMS/DMS) is Delaware's only
statewide community music school, dedicated to remaining Delaware’s primary
resource for music education for everyone, with branches in Wilmington
and Milford and over 20 outreach locations. For over 80 years, the school
has served the region through private instrumental and vocal lessons. Today,
WMS/DMS also offers early childhood and Kindermusik® programs; the Suzuki
Academy; courses in music theory, conducting and musical theatre; choral and
orchestral ensemble opportunities for all ages; and concert series and events
featuring classical, jazz and world music.
The Wilmington Music School/Delaware Music School is an accredited institutional
member of the Accrediting Commission for Community and Pre-Collegiate Arts
Schools (ACCPAS) and the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). The
Wilmington Music School/Delaware Music School administers a financial assistance
program intended for families who have restricted financial circumstances.
